BOOK 1 CHAPTER 3
BACK TO THE BEGINNING
I close my eyes and Thoth is there squatting on the ground with his mask on and his stick in his hand.
“May I see you?”
“Yes,” he replies, takes his mask off and smiles at me. He stands, reaches his left hand out and places it on my heart.
“I miss this,” I say to him, feeling sad all of the sudden.
“I’m always here. I’ve been here the whole time waiting for you. You have missed no thing because everything is right here,” he says and presses harder on my heart.
He pulls his hand away and I see golden Light sparkling in his palm.
“You and I are one in the same. This is our bond. This is our truth,” he tells me. “You hold much anxiety and place much pressure on yourself here in your heart. The heart takes much cruelty from you. How much longer would you like to carry that within?”
“Then liberate it.”
I then see a little tray of ash slide out from the bottom of my heart. He takes it, dumps it and then goes to put it back in. I grab his hand. Our eyes meet and we smile knowingly at each other. I take the tray from him and drop it in the ocean.
“I don’t need that anymore,” I declare.
“I didn’t think so,” he says with a twinkle in his eye.
I look inside and allow my golden Light to fill my heart up.
“Why did I put that there in the first place?” I ask myself.
“Just in case,” I answer back.
I then see a lifesaver ring, a life jacket and a yellow blow-up rescue boat.
I realize then that my “just in case” answer came from fear. I forgive, then thank myself while tossing my “fear gear” in the ocean.
Thoth smiles, puts his head dress back on, squats back on the ground and pats the dirt next to him for me to sit.
I happily sit in the dirt next to him and giggle to myself about sitting in the dirt. I don’t like to get dirty. Never have.
“Neutralize it,” he says.
I then hear Bob Marley singing it to me through his song “Legalize It”.
I look over and smile at Bob, and as he smiles back, a big puff of smoke escapes his lips. All three of us laugh. Bob continues playing his guitar and three little birds appear on his shoulder. All four of them begin singing “Neutralize It” to me.
I turn back to Thoth. He’s written many symbols in the dirt. Nothing I can make out.
“Feel the vibration of the symbols.”
I look at them again, close my eyes and hold their image in my mind’s eye so I can feel them. The symbols swirl around and then connect like pieces of a puzzle coming together to form one symbol. Then the symbol flashes again and again and again and I feel like I am moving forward as if I were on a train. The more the symbol flashes, the faster I go forward.
“This is time travel,” Thoth informs me.
The flashes turn from strobe light to one light and before I know it, I land in sand on both bare feet.
I look up and see pyramids in the distance. They are the same color as the sand. This makes it hard to judge their distance. The sky is blue. Cobalt blue. There are no clouds. The sun is warm on my back. The warmth makes me want to melt.
I open my eyes and flip on the heater.
I close them and I am standing right in front of the big pyramid. It is massive. I feel small. I don’t know why, but it makes me want to cry.
Thoth appears next to me, puts his hand out and a door slides open.
“Welcome,” he says.
I take a deep breath and step into the unknown.
“You know this place very well. It is not foreign to you,” he assures me.
I take a series of several deep breaths to calm the rapid beating of my heart, and my nervousness begins to turn into excitement.
“I’m home,” slips out of my mouth.
“Yes, you are. Welcome back to the beginning.”
I realize that I’m still standing just inside the door. I can see nothing and my feet won’t move. I can’t see Thoth, but I know he is right beside me. I decide to leave my body and the movie “Inception” pops into my mind...a dream within a dream within a dream.
I float inside the pyramid racing from one spot to another. I feel like Tinkerbelle as a stream of golden sparkling dust trails behind me. Then I am everywhere at once.
I now find myself sitting in the dirt across from Thoth. He has drawn a circle in the sand between us. I look up and notice we are in the center of the center of the pyramid... the exact same place I like to sit in the movie theatre. Once me, always me, I think to myself and smile. I look into the circle and the one symbol is there, which then separates back into its many different symbols.
Thoth reminds me telepathically of the bright colored crystals from “The Land of the Lost” series I watched as a kid. Those crystals represented time travel and they were always the most fascinating, and my most favorite, part of the show. Now I know why.
I close my eyes and see the crystals clearly in my mind’s eye, lighting up and forming a pattern like a key that unlocks a door. That’s all I see, so I open my eyes and look at Thoth who is staring at me. The love I see in his eyes for me makes me feel a little self-conscious. I inhale his love into my heart and relax.
“Just feel,” he says to me in a gentle voice.
I close my eyes and feel the vibration all around me. It becomes me and I am no longer separate from it or from him. For the first time in a very, very long time, we are One.
I open my eyes and look at my phone. It is 11:22am.
